The MBTI® assessment
The MBTI® assessment is the most widely used personality inventory in history. This tool was created by Katherine Briggs and her daughter, Isabel Briggs Myers and is built upon Carl Jung’s theory of personality types. The results of this assessment reveal characteristics unique to each type and show how they influence people’s way of interacting with one another and can help individuals:

If you've never taken the MBTI instrument before, start with this one. This is the basic, 18-page report. You will get a good, solid introduction to personality types. The assessment has 144 questions and takes about 30-40 minutes to complete. It is suitable for those 14 yrs. old and above.

The Firo-B is a tool used for helping people understand their own behavior and that of others in interpersonal relationships. It provides insights about one’s interpersonal needs and how those needs affect their interactions. This instrument focuses on the extent to which a person initiates or wants others to initiate a particular behavior relative to three basic interpersonal needs:
- Inclusion – One’s participation in forming relationships
- Control – decision making, control, influence and leadership
- Affection – closeness and loyalty between individuals
