Assessment Descriptions and Pricing

Each individual is unique with their own combination of personality preferences, interests, values, talents and skills. It is important to make sure that you are working in an environment you prefer, doing activities and using skills that reflect your true self and personal style.

By increasing your self-understanding through the use of assessments such as the Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory, you can choose a career and direction that will lead to personally satisfying work that builds on your unique strengths, skills, preferences, interests, values and situation.

Assessments can also be used in personal and professional relationships so that the individuals can better understand their own behavior and that of others in interpersonal situations. The insights gained can make a powerful difference in one-to-one, small group and team relationships.
For instance, the results can help a manager in keeping an interview focused on the key issues. Understanding someone's unique personality style can help in making a hiring decision. For example, if a person is applying for a position that requires a great focus on organization and details, the assessment results could reveal the candidate is not detail oriented.

If you tested your entire company, you could see certain common personality traits emerge in various jobs. Some characteristics may represent the personalities of the best people in that job, others may be common among the worst. A wide variety of instrument can aid in establishing a profile of an ideal candidate for any job.
All people are different, and you will rarely find anyone who meets 100% of an ideal job candidate, but as you begin hiring and promoting people closer to the profile, you could find better results. "If I only had 10 more people like Sue!" - Now you can evaluate "Sue" and compare new candidates.

Some personality types don't mix well with other types. Remember the old TV program "The Odd Couple"? Is your office or home similar? Isabel Myers studied 375 couples who were not in counseling and found that the most frequent situation was for the couple to be alike on three of their four preferences, rather than on only two, as would be expected by chance. She further found that having two or three preferences in common contributes to the success of a relationship and lessens the need for counseling

How to take the online assessments:
Use our secure server to pay with your credit card or pay in our center. You will then log into the test site to begin. After you finish and the results are scored you will receive your personal report via e-mail or in-person. A scheduled consultation to review the results and discuss next steps will also be arranged.

The MBTI® Assessment is the most widely used personality inventory in history. This tool was created by Katherine Briggs and her daughter, Isabel Briggs Myers and is built upon Carl Jung’s theory of personality types. MBTI Interpretive Report - $65 with Career Report - $80
If you've never taken the MBTI instrument before, start with this one. This is the basic, 18-page report. You will get a good, solid introduction to personality types. The assessment has 144 questions and takes about 30-40 minutes to complete. It is suitable for those 14 yrs. old and above.
MBTI Career Report Option

Firo-B - Use for building Powerful, Positive and Successful Working Relationships

The Firo-B is a tool used for helping people understand their own behavior and that of others in interpersonal relationships. It provides insights about one’s interpersonal needs and how those needs affect their interactions. This instrument focuses on the extent to which a person initiates or wants others to initiate a particular behavior relative to three basic interpersonal needs:

The insights from the use of this tool can have a major impact in one-to-one, group and team relationships. This assessment has 54 questions and takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete.

Firo-B Interpretative Report - $35
This 13-page report will help individuals who are looking for ways to improve their effectiveness in the business setting. It provides a listing of patterns of need fulfillment, targets areas for development and provides team role effectiveness information with suggested ideas for improvement.
Firo-B Leadership Report with MBTI - $85
This 17-page report utilizes personality and behavior information from both the MBTI and the Firo-B assessment results in the areas of communication, problem solving, decision-making and interpersonal relations. The results will identify your key strengths and challenges and offer ideas for personal development. You'll take the Myers-Briggs first. Strong Interest Inventory®-SII

Identifies careers recommended by the Strong, MBTI assessment results and also includes the Combined Career Report and Entrepreneur Report. You'll start off with the Myers-Briggs assessment. This package includes the Myers-Briggs and the Strong Interest Inventory interpretative reports. The Myers-Briggs interpretative report includes the 20 facets or subscales instead of just the basic four scales. You'll take the Myers-Briggs first. Maximum Career Package - $230
This package includes the Myers-Briggs and the Strong Interest Inventory interpretive reports, and the combined Strong/Myers-Briggs Career Report.
