Estelle Cimino, the principal of Career Action Center has worked with thousands of clients and has over 15 years experience in business and career development working in private practice and with corporate, government and small business organizations in California, Washington DC, Maryland and New York.
With her warm uplifting manner, she works with her clients to uncover natural talent, pinpoint goals and turn dreams into reality. She excels in counseling and coaching clients through life transitions whether it be loss of a job, loss of a loved one or career or personal reinvention.
Estelle is known for her entrepreneurial spirit as well as her compassion, understanding and unique insight into human behavior. She has worked in a wide variety of industries from start-up, mid sized, Fortune 500 to the Federal Government and non-profit in addition to starting her own businesses. Having won the Small Business Administration Business of the Year Award as well as the Chamber of Commerce Small Business Excellence Award, Estelle knows what it takes to launch a successful business and has coached hundreds of clients in starting their own business.
Estelle has a B.S. degree in Marketing from the University of MD and a M.A. in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University along with extensive training and experience in transitions counseling and grief and bereavement support. She is highly proficient in all aspects of job search, facilitating work teams and support groups as well as designing and delivering programs that meet organizational and client needs.
Her education and professional background has led to her skilled approach in helping clients develop a balanced life based upon their desires. She assists them in creating a vision for their future that is grounded in who they are and what they want that leverages their strengths and honors their values.
During periods of transition most people lack confidence and need to re-evaluate, re-prioritize, re-energize, learn new skills and create a new vision and goals before they move forward. Transitions are a time to let go of the past while positioning yourself for the future.
Starting from the inside and progressing outward, Estelle helps her clients move through obstacles such as feelings of fear and doubt while actively coaching and inspiring them towards creative empowerment to achieve personal and professional results.
